Some facts about Slope Runner.
- Slope Runner is a four-masted barque.
- The masts are named, from bow to stern, foremast, mainmast, mizzenmast and jigger.
- The picture above is of an Earth four-masted barque. Slope Runner is similar in some ways but has shorter masts with only two sails each (due to greater air density).
- Dimensions:
- Length: 35 metres, plus 8 metres of bowsprit
- Beam: 9 metres
- Height: 4 decks. From top to bottom we have the forecastle and quarterdeck, main deck, berth deck, orlop and hold
- Watertight compartments are called small box, long box, main box and back box from bow to stern
- Speed:
- Cruising with heavy cargo: 30 leagues per day
- Best without magic: 40 to 45 leagues per day
- Fastest with magic, before game started: 60 to 65 leagues per day
- Fastest with magic, during play: 88 leagues per day
- Can sail 47 degrees into the wind
- A ship this size should have at least 10 seaman with 20 being a safer number. Further you would like to have 8 to 10 Master Seaman.
- For artillery there are:
